ALTAÏ is a highly visible office complex located at the heart of Paris' principal airport. The landmark green building sets the tone for the new Roissypole business development zone programmed by Aéroports de Paris. Steps away from the RER train station, the competition winning project designed by ART & BUILD Architects won over the jury thanks to a convincing environmentally conscious design, integrating innovative additives in the concrete façade panels. The striking appearance of the zebra striped 5-storey building results from careful analysis of the facade's exposure to atmospheric pollution, which is reduced by photo-catalytic bands of concrete containing recycled glass aggregates. The 13,250 sqm project hosts a restaurant with a 500 meal daily capacity, a 427 car underground garage, and an exquisitely planted courtyard. Developed by GA Promotion with Aéroport de Paris providing the master plan, and with Aéroport de Paris group (60%) and Schipol Real Estate (40%) as investors, ALTAÏ was formerly inaugurated on October 12th, 2012. The scheme was certified NF HQE™ Bâtiments Tertiaires, with BBC-effinergie® certification pending. Major tenants are Air France/KLM and Servair.
